 Week of November 2nd-6th

  • Announcements

    • A reminder there is no school on Wednesday next week for Remembrance Day. Poppies can be purchased from homeroom teachers with an appropriate donation.

  • Humanities 

    • This week we finished off looking at “the basics” of Literary analysis, while looking at the students choice of short films

    • After that we started the independent novel study that will take us through to Christmas

    • In our Japan unit we started looking at the social structure of Edo Japan.

  • Math

    • This week we continued working on transformations 

    • We wrote the transformations unit final on Thursday. Be ready to write on Monday if you were absent

    • Next week we will be starting Integers 

  • Science 

    • We wrote our Mix and Flow of Matter unit final on Tuesday

    • We are beginning our next unit: Cells and Systems
