Week of November 9th-13th
Announcements
Parent, teacher, students conferences are next Thursday and Friday
Thursday will be a noon dismissal. No school Friday
Humanities
This week we finished off looking at “the basics” of Literary analysis, while looking at the students choice of short films
After that we started the independent novel study that will take us through to christmas
In our Japan unit we started looking at the social structure of Edo Japan.
Math
We began integers with grade 7 adding and subtracting review
Get ready for multiplication and division starting Monday
Science
This week we continued on with with our Cells and Systems unit and discussed the 5 common traits all living things share
We completed our structure and function assignment. Please check google classroom to make sure it is completed and the “turn in” button has been pressed
